How We Work
How E-BI Works
Our standard operating procedure starts with the design stage. After initial conversations and signing of an NDA, we’ll gather any drawings (both 2D and 3D) and design materials from you. Need help with design completion and design for manufacturing (DFM)? We can help. If you don’t already have a prototype, we recommend having one made as proof of concept. Learn about our prototyping service here.
Once the design is finalized and we have an idea of the volume you will need initially, we are ready to create a production quote. Next is the manufacturing stage.
If you already have tooling/molds, great! If not, we’ll need to start there. You’ll need to place your tooling purchase order (P.O.) and allow around 20-30 days lead time to get your tooling made. Once the tooling is complete, you can place your production P.O.. This will include your 1st article, pre production run (PPR) and volume production.
