Project Manager – Assembly & Integration Shenzhen, China

Position Summary

As a Project Manager – Assembly & Integration at E-BI, you’ll lead the orchestration of complex assembly and integration projects—from precision component assembly and system integration right through to functional validation and delivery. You’ll coordinate across disciplines—engineering, QA, sourcing, logistics—and guide execution through E-BI’s Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) system and its trusted Star Factory Alliance of vetted manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Assembly & Integration Projects
    Oversee projects where components are assembled, integrated, and validated—ranging from electromechanical systems to full product units—within E-BI’s turnkey manufacturing ecosystem.

  • Scope, Schedule & Budget Management
    Define project objectives, establish milestones, allocate resources, and manage budgets effectively to meet quality, timing, and cost requirements.

  • Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
    Coordinate with internal teams—such as engineering, QA, and logistics—and select specialized partners from the Star Factory Alliance to execute assembly and integration tasks on a global scale.

  • Project Governance & Quality Assurance
    Employ PMP-certified methodologies to steer projects from initiation to completion. Ensure adherence to ISO standards and rigorous QA protocols throughout the assembly and testing stages.

  • GSCM Utilization
    Leverage E-BI’s real-time GSCM system to synchronize manufacturing workflows, supplier coordination, and logistics planning for seamless execution.

  • Stakeholder Communication
    Maintain transparent communication with clients and cross-functional teams via regular status reports, meeting cadences, risk alerts, and performance summaries.

Desired Qualifications
  • Education & Project Management Experience
    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field. At least 3–5 years managing assembly, integration, or complex manufacturing projects, ideally in a contract manufacturing or multi-tier supply chain environment.

  • Certifications & Methodologies
    PMP certification is strongly preferred. Experience with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality frameworks is highly desirable.

  • Technical Acumen
    Proven knowledge of product assembly techniques—including mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical integration—and quality validation protocols.

  • Organizational & Analytical Strength
    Ability to lead schedules, manage budgets, analyze metrics, and adjust planning to maintain project flow.

  • Communication & Leadership Skills
    Effective collaborator with international and cross-functional teams; strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
