Project Manager – Casting Shenzhen, China
Position Summary
As the Project Manager – Casting at E-BI, you will spearhead the delivery of complex metal casting projects—from concept and prototyping through production and global delivery. You will manage a spectrum of casting techniques (such as die casting, investment casting, sand casting, and more) while coordinating internal teams and global manufacturing partners to meet precise quality, cost, and timeline targets. Your role is integral in leveraging E-BI’s specialty casting expertise and ensuring excellence in execution across their turnkey supply chain.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Full Lifecycle Casting Projects
Oversee project planning and execution for diverse casting methods—including centrifugal, die, investment, lost foam, sand, permanent mold, plaster mold, shell mold, squeeze casting, and metal injection molding—ensuring optimal process selection for performance and cost-efficiency. -
Technical and Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate with design, engineering, QA, procurement, and logistics teams to define casting specifications, guide tooling strategies, coordinate workflows, and align project milestones with E-BI’s global standards. -
Supplier and Alliance Management
Leverage E-BI’s Star Factory Alliance—a network of over 500 vetted global manufacturing partners—to source casting execution capabilities aligned with project needs. -
Quality Assurance & Certification Compliance
Ensure all casting outputs meet or exceed E-BI’s ISO-certified quality standards, coordinating closely with QA/metrology specialists for inspections and validations. -
Project Governance & Metrics Tracking
Utilize PMP-certified project management frameworks to define scope, schedule, budgets, and risks—while delivering timely reporting on project health to internal stakeholders and clients. -
Supply Chain Integration & Visibility
Utilize E-BI’s proprietary Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) system to synchronize real-time production status, inventory, and delivery schedules across partners and regions. -
Client and Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the central liaison between clients and internal/external teams—delivering regular updates, addressing risks proactively, and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field. 3–6+ years in project management within casting or heavy manufacturing environments—especially involving multiple casting methods and technical complexity. -
Technical Proficiency
Detailed knowledge of various casting methods (die, sand, investment, centrifugal, etc.) and materials like stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, and magnesium. -
Project Management Expertise
PMP certification or equivalent is strongly preferred. Experience in structured project governance, scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management in manufacturing contexts. -
Quality and Analytical Mindset
Proficiency in driving quality assurance frameworks (like ISO 9001), keen analytical capabilities, and aptitude for data-informed decision-making. -
Communication & Leadership
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional and cross-regional teams while fostering stakeholder trust and delivering complex programs.
